FINAT AT A GLANCE
OUR AIM: YOUR INTEREST
FINAT, founded in Paris in 1958, is the worldwide association for
self-adhesive labelling and related products. It represents label
printers and suppliers to the label industry and defends their
interests in the widest sense. FINAT’s multi-disciplinary approach
makes it a strong and influential association which:
• represents members’ interests whenever, and wherever possible
• provides a central source for industry information
• offers comprehensive training and definitive technical
publications
• represents the industry’s views at government level (lobbying)
• acts as an information source on legislative issues
• establishes and maintains industry-related test methods and
standards
• provides a proactive global meetings forum for members
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
There are 4 categories of membership:
• Label printers
• Direct suppliers (manufacturers of self-adhesive and heat-seal
materials, presses, inks, dies, application machinery, auxiliary
equipment and materials)
• Indirect suppliers (manufacturers of papers, films, foils,
adhesives, silicones, release liners, coating equipment, service
providers)
• Affiliated members (national associations, academia, institutes,
press)

MEMBERSHIP
You are eligible for a FINAT membership If your company is
manufacturing self-adhesive labels and related products, or
supplying raw materials, or equipment used in the manufacture of
self-adhesive labels and related products.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
The membership fee is based on a company’s annual turnover
(in the label sector) and amounts to:
