take the online FINAT community to the next level. The committees could already experience the ‘Forum’ feature in their own online working space, but now discussion groups may also be created for other members with an interest in a specific topic (e.g. sustainability). When a user has access to a forum, they can easily add a subject by clicking the button. Requests for new discussion groups can be send to the FINAT Secretariat.
Furthermore, FINAT also introduced a blog area where members can create (via the secretariat), read and reply to discussions and share their experiences.

FINAT links to twitter via a so called twitter wall on the general homepage and has integrated their LinkedIn group on the public domain (under news). All the
website developments lead to more exposure for FINAT members, not only within the Community, but also on the general website. With the optimized member search, company details can be found more easily. The company profiles are also extended with a short introduction text which members with an online profile can edit. The event calendar, the event registration and the security of the website were also optimized recently to make it easier for visitors to find information. A photo gallery and RSS feed were also added to the FINAT website.

In addition to these virtual features, FINAT is also introducing FINAT On-the- Go. Always have your association with you, wherever you go! The App allows members to conveniently keep track of FINAT news and FINAT events while
travelling. Users can set their preferences by news by category and via the social media link they can immediately share information within his or her network. Currently, the App is available for iPhone users only.
