FINAT congresses in years.

Association, which was
formally set-up in April 2013.

22 June:
the FINAT Technical
Committee and Recycling Group met in Frankfurt.
26 June,
the FINAT CPC met in Munich to explore the facilities
and to start preparations for the joint FINAT/VskE congress,
which takes place from 12-15 June 2013. On behalf of co-hosting
national association, this year’s CPC was joined by Anke Höfer,
VskE’s Vice President in charge of meeting planning.

2012
4 July:
FINAT Executive Board meeting in Milan to assess the
outcome of the Member Survey, review the results of the
present strategy and plan the autumn Board strategy review.
AUGUST
2012
30 August:
FINAT Board and Marketing Committee meetings
in Amsterdam.

13 September:
the L9 met on the occasion of Labelexpo
Chicago. New concept World Label Awards adopted. The
group also establishes a Best of the Best awards competition,
highlighting the best of the best across all the 22 label awards

The FINAT Congress 2012 in Athens was one of the most inspiring and highly rated FINAT Congresses over the
past decade. An extensive report can be found in this Yearbook. ‘Athens’ kicked off the 55th association cycle in
FINAT’s history. As always we kick off this Yearbook with a chronological summary of the highlights on FINAT’s
calendar for edition 2012-2013.
